How Con-artist
Real Esate agents disguide themselves
Yes, there is level of effort that must be put in to become an agent. But agents
are only human. They have family, hobbies and other clients. To work hard for
you is to sacrifice his time and effort with other clients.
Do not believe your agents will kiss the ground you work on. Don't bother
looking for these kinds of agents because they are just scammers. Do not believe
your agent works hard because he likes you. He has to put up a front in order to
make a sale. His front is never removed until the contract is signed and he gets
the commission.
The objective with agents as with any other salesperson, is to make as many
sales as possible with the least amount of time.
To appear to work hard is only a trick to lure clients in. Most agents claim to
have made lots of effort, but the reality is that they have tools accessible
through the internet provided to them for being licensed. These tools make their
work easy. His hardest work is just driving around to see the available houses.
Your agents desire to work hard is based on his moral and ethics, not his love
for you.
If he can make you laugh, if he can make you think you are the most important
person in the world, if he can make you believe without having any evidence to
back up his claims, then he has managed to capture your interest, but not
any case has he shown his loyalty or honesty.
You, as a client, is a number. He knows you can leave at any time.
The agent does not really care about you. The agent cares about how much money
he can make from you.
In fact, the more charismatic he is, the least likely he is
honest. Your goal should be to look for someone who is charismatic. Your goal should
be to look for someone who is honest and ethical.
Information is vital to making your decision. Statistical information on paper.
Not decision making that is coming out of the agents mouth.
If you ask your agent a question and his answer is don't worry about it, then
you should really be concerned. If you ask him a question and he doesn't
thoroughly explain the value of the answer, then you should be concerned.
If you search through mls, what you see are genralized information. Agents have
much more detailed information. If you look at the detailed information and you
do not understand, you should and he should answer. Because the detailed
information is valuable. He should not only answer, but answer and explain the
value and meaning of the data.
Agents that don't provide you information, don't want you to make decisions.
Thus, these con artist agents take total control of the decision making. You
need to be the owner of the of the information. After all, it is your money and
the agent supposedly is there to assist you.
